Sermon Series Beginning October 23

You have probably heard me say God wills for believers to be “bright lights in dark places.”

I didn’t originate that idea. Jesus introduced it when He said, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

Beginning on October 23, I plan to share a six-part sermon series called Glow In the Dark. In the series, I will share basic attitudes and actions we each need to display in order to let our light shine for Jesus—to glow in the dark! We will examine character qualities described in the Bible that set believers apart and make us beacons of light in a murky world.

I ask you to pray for me as I prepare these messages and to come each Sunday during the series so you can learn to light up the darkness with all of us who belong to Christ.
